Some of the older slides from BLU meetings long ago were preserved i StarOffice 5.2 format. and OpenOffice makes a mess of them when opening them. I figure to properly preserve the documents, the best way would be to first open them in their original source environment, then work out how to properly export them. At the very least, I would expect the old StarOffice 5.2 could export them to a clean, future-proof PDF format. Has anyone tried installing StarOffice on a recent version of Linux? I don't currently have any hardware running VM services, and I'd rather not spend money on a new server just for this. -- John Abreau / Executive Director, Boston Linux & Unix Email: abreauj at gmail.com / WWW http://www.abreau.net / PGP-Key-ID 0x920063C6 PGP-Key-Fingerprint A5AD 6BE1 FEFE 8E4F 5C23 C2D0 E885 E17C 9200 63C6
