Our client is looking for a Mid to Sr level Linux Systems Engineer to
perform driver modification and integration in C.  Will be integrating
various types of drivers.  Environment is Freescale (MIPS core)
Processor (not required).  Video exp. is a plus. This is a temp to perm
opportunity.

Sr to Prin level Engineer needed for a temp to perm role. Our client is
looking for a Software Engineer with C/C++ and shell development
experience on embedded Linux operating system (preferably v2.6 kernel).
The ideal candidate should have solid experience in Linux internals such
as file systems, device drivers and networking interfaces. Thorough
understanding of Linux utilities such as system logging, network
services and run time options is also a must. A strong knowledge of
kernel configuration and build, packaging, install is preferred.
 
The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum levels
of knowledge, skill and/or ability necessary. 
 
Required Skills: 
" 5+ yrs. software engineering and development experience on a Linux
platform. 
" Fluency in C or C++ with strong problem-solving and communication
skills required, with ability to work harmoniously in a dynamic group.
This work is mostly in C.
" Must be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision and have
strong organizational skills and the ability to learn quickly.

Our client is looking for Sr or Prin level Software Engineer (temp to
perm) with C/C++ and Linux based software development experience for a
temp to perm role. Ideal candidate should have experience writing user
space applications for a distributed real time system. 
Experience writing multithreaded, socket based applications on Linux
platforms is required. Position requires ability to work closely with
peers in a fast paced dynamic environment.

Required Skills
Fluency in C with strong problem-solving and communication skills
required, with ability to work harmoniously in a dynamic group. 
Will consider kernel or user mode Linux.
Strong understanding of Distributed Systems and Networking Protocols is
a must.  They are working with TCP/IP. Clustering and files systems exp.
a big plus.
Must be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision and have strong
organizational skills and the ability to learn quickly. 
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Our client is looking for a Contractor that has an Embedded System SW
Engineering background for 6-12 months to: research, design, develop,
and test real-time embedded control system application software with a
primary focus on highly reliable, safety and mission critical software 
 
U.S Citizen required
 
* 5+ years related experience in embedded real-time control system
software development in an R&D environment. Includes C, C++, assembly
language, development tools, etc.
* Linux operating system development experience.
* Mathematics -- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus,
statistics, and their applications.
* Must be experienced with software development and maintenance of high
reliability, safety critical software using embedded system development
tools and embedded real-time operating systems on embedded platforms.
* Must have directly related software project development experience
with formalized development process techniques in a military, medical,
or FAA software development projects.

Design and develop highly reliable and available real-time embedded
control system software.
