I don't run them on the same machine; I run Fedora on my laptop, and
Windows in a KVM/qemu VM on a separate CentOS rackmount server that I
purchased on ebay a couple years ago. The main things I need on the Windows
VM to integrate with Linux are PuTTY (ssh), FileZilla (sftp), and Mocha X11
(minimalist rootless X server). I use PuTTY for copy/pasting text back and
forth, and FileZilla for file transfers back and forth.

I don't even try to do Linux things on Windows; I use Windows only for what
I can't do on Linux, then transfer the results back over to Linux afterward.
