Booting X-Windows

Did you run SuperProbe?

That you will give info about the type of chipset, etc the xconfig program
will ask for when you go to configure Xwindows.

I also have a Diamond Stealth video card also.  
Xconfig does have an option to type in for that type of card, but I'm
still working on "getting it to work".  

Friend of mine also had one but also had a tough time getting it to work.
The March 97 WAlnut Creek Linux Toolbox set has the configuration options
for the Stealth Graphics card.
