John Abreau writes: I believe that if you set the TERM variable to "vt100" instead of "xterm", you'll be all set. Nope. I tried both "setenv TERM vt100" and "set term=vt100", and ran a top in the window. In both cases, it came up with its header lines in a color that didn't contrast well. The actual process table part was the foreground color, so that was readable, but things like the load average, mem and swap use were illegible. - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
