I see Corel continues to get dissed in the media. What a shame they don't get dump Cowpland. Anyways, I finally got lazy and just loaded the Corel Linux on my workstation and installed the Word Perfect Office 2000 without a hitch (RH 6.2 would have worked fine as well). Their KDE interface is different than the SuSE but still quite useable and the installs were a breeze, giving me the full function of the office suite. Quite nice and great for newbies although I admit I miss the capabilities my SuSE and its yast offered on disk formatting, etc.. I could see this as a greaat option for desktop workstations and just as easily replacing the Windows crap that is already out there. All we need is a few more good aps to drive the market that way! So, is anyone else using the Corel OS and aps, or am I a lone candle in the dark? - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
