From: nmeyers at javalinux.net Date: Sun, 26 Oct 2003 11:53:26 -0500 I remember one company that specialized on Linux on laptops a few years ago - I don't recall the details, but I think it made bulk purchases of OS-less laptops from major vendors. Notice that I'm talking about that company in the past tense. I still see Emperor Linux advertise in Linux Journal. -- Robert Krawitz <rlk at alum.mit.edu> Tall Clubs International -- http://www.tall.org/ or 1-888-IM-TALL-2 Member of the League for Programming Freedom -- mail lpf at uunet.uu.net Project lead for Gimp Print -- http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net "Linux doesn't dictate how I work, I dictate how Linux works." --Eric Crampton
