the list moderator. I will not ignore the list moderator's 
recommendations. The list moderator is God."

That being said, calling Microsoft M$ is a derogatory term, there are 
people who use MS out there, and they don't like it. How would you like 
it if someone knocks on Linux on a list? Having a person flame you 
because they disagree with your spelling takes away from the signal and 
adds to the noise, and generally takes away from the value of the list 
(see: flamewars on Full-Disclosure). Chances are the moderator was 
nipping it in the bud. If you really "wanted an answer from a security 
professional" you could of redone your letter to say MS or *gasp* 
'Microsoft'.

So really, don't complain.
