Abstract

Dan Hildreth and Pat Beirne of Corel Computer Corporation demonstrate Corel's new Linux-based computer, the NetWinder. The NetWinder is based on Digital Equipment Corporation's StrongARM processor. Pat Beirne is Corel Computer's Chief Engineer. He was co-founder of Mitel where he developed their PBX products; is the arthur of Corel Draw, and is the principle behind Corel's Netwinder Linux Computer. Pat will be providing a detailed disclosure of the internal operations of the Netwinder with current and potential uses.
