Pete discusses Astaro Security Gateway, a Linux-based security appliance that provides protection for network, web access and email traffic.

Abstract

Astaro Security Linux provides firewall, VPN, Intrusion Prevention/Detection, spam/virus blocking, and web protection, with a simple web-based management interface. Applications used: IPTables, Apache, FreeSwan, Squid, Exim, Snort, SpamAssasin, and ClamAV.
