A retrospective look at the early days of personal computing

Abstract

Bob discusses his experience in writing VisiCalc back in 1978, and the many design decisions made along the way. He gave a similar talk for the Computer History Museum's “The Origins and Impact of VisiCalc” panel on April 8th 2003.
