I was wondering if anyone is using a 1GB SCSI drive

Adaptec will send you, free of charge on request, BIOS ROM set v3.20 for the
1542B.  This ROM set will support the same translation for support of up to 8
GB drives below the 1024-cylinder boundary.  Call (800)959-scsi for info.
