I have what is now an ancient version of Linux on my system, 1.2.8 (pre-ELF), and my cc is gcc version 2.6.3. I'm trying to link perl5.002 -- ideally dynamically -- and have been unsuccessful at figuring out what cc and ld options should be used for this. (I know it's possible, because some of the executables are dynamically linked. But HOW?) Can anyone help? (Obviously, from my lazy-man's point of view, the ideal solution would be a copy of your perl5.002 configuration files ...) Thanks in advance -- Howard Siegel hpsiegel at zk3.dec.com
