dialup scripts

The follow script works with RedHat 5.1 and dials up MSN
You'll probably have to delet the MSN in the username, and may have to put
your domain name there.

USERNAME=MSN/myusername
PASSWORD=mypassword
MODEM=/dev/modem
INIT_STRING=ATZ
PPPD=/usr/sbin/pppd

TELEPHONE=6580770

[ ! -f /etc/ppp/options ] && touch /etc/ppp/options

$PPPD $MODEM 57600 lock crtscts \
        defaultroute noipdefault        \
        file /dev/null                  \
        connect "chat -v                \
                ABORT '\nBUSY\r'        \
                TIMEOUT 45              \
                '' \r$INIT_STRING       \
                OK ATDT$TELEPHONE       \
                ogin: $USERNAME         \
                word: $PASSWORD"
