Cyrix MediaGX chipset and Linux

I have a GCT-MGX motherboard, with the Cyrix "MediaGX"
chipset. It's a 200 MHz chip with ISA and PCI slots, and
has both video and audio "on board" so no added cards are
needed.

The board is unworkable for my windows applications, and I'm
going to swap it out. For
some reason, it abends badly with certain educational
software that my son uses.

So, has anyone on the list used this under Linux? I'd like
to save the board if I can:
it was a gift from a close friend, and I want him to see it
used if at all possible.

TIA.
