BORLAND DROPS THE PRICE ON KYLIX DESKTOP DEVELOPER

Because
1. Not everybody knows xemacs, gcc, make, ddd/gdb
2. A lot of people knows delphy
3. it is a visual RAD (none of the one you said is)
4. It is cross platform
5. It has DB/Internet/XML/third party control already available
6. There is a "company" to blame ;)

anything else?

My opinion?
This is a GREAT NEWS! Hope the porting of C++ builder will come out SOON!

Max
