OK. I'm dense. What is the /dev node for the flash card? I've been
looking around, and some howto's mention /dev/hde, others mention
/dev/sda. In any case, here's what I get:

# mount /dev/hde /mnt/flash -t vfat
mount: /dev/hde: unknown device

# mount /dev/hde1 /mnt/flash -t vfat
mount: /dev/hde1: unknown device

Same thing when I try /dev/sda. And while I'm at it, this whole /dev
thing is a total mystery to me. Where would I look if I really wanted
to understand the logic? Even better, how would I find out what devices
there are?
