After the AT&T BB outages 2 weeks ago, I changed my forwarding on blu.org to point to the mediaone server (gaf at mediaone.net) rather than my smtp server. I run fetchmail to grab any mail I have on the mediaone pop server. Every once in a while I find a message on their server which fetchmail is unable to flush. Yet, I can go in with Netscape Messenger and flush it manually. I don't recall what version of fetchmail I'm using, but my system is running SuSE 7.1 professional with a 2.4 kernel. I generally keep my system up with the latest patches from SuSE. (BTW: I found that the version of fetchmail supplied with this SuSE release is more reliable than the previuous version). Has anyone had a similar experience either with fetchmail or other POP clients. Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> Associate Director Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org
