Now there's a familiar story! Same thing happened with the blu.org server; one of our members had an ISP and donated free co-lo for our server. Eventually he sold the company, and the free co-lo for blu.org was grandfathered in. Then a few years later we suddenly got notice that they were raising our costs from zero to $1700 per month (a big part of the cost was because our old server was a full tower, taking up about 12U of space in its rack). -- John Abreau / Executive Director, Boston Linux & Unix ICQ 28611923 / AIM abreauj / JABBER jabr at jabber.org / YAHOO abreauj Email jabr at blu.org / WWW http://www.abreau.net / PGP-Key-ID 0xD5C7B5D9 PGP-Key-Fingerprint 72 FB 39 4F 3C 3B D6 5B E0 C8 5A 6E F1 2C BE 99 -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
