OpenBSD:greenhorn needs help

Hello BLU people,

I have just installed OpenBSD for the first time,
I followed the fine print carefully, and it
installed OK.

Now it wont let me login-

I don't think it ever asked me for a user name.
It did ask for a root password -  which doesn't
work.

What's wrong? Did it slide in a default user name
for me when I wasn't looking?
