sed replacement

First, you don't need to use cat.
I just tried it on my system: (here is a fragment of the file I used)

collection currently include compilers for the Ada, C, C++, Objective
C, Chill, FORTRAN, and Java languages. Unlike utilities such as p2c,
this is a true compiler, not just a converter.

sed -e "s/Chill/\n\nChill/" gpc.README
The result is:
