File Transfer With Putty

I am trying to transfer small files from my windows machine on the fly to my
linux machine and I was told that I can do it when I ssh into my linux box
with putty. The only thing is I cant figure it out. I have searched for
references and the only things I can find seem to only work if I was working
with two linux machines and was not using putty. Any help?
