3rd Shift Network Operations Center Analyst (Weekends) 


* Monitor, respond and resolve incidents arising from the client 
technical environments that would include but may not be limited to the 
networks (LAN/WAN), servers, storage units, applications, and security 
platforms, using pre-defined tools and processes. 
* Maintain continued ownership for all incidents related to the 
technical environment from discovery though post mortem analysis. 
* Execute and maintain primary responsibility for the Client Escalation 
Policy, Incident Communication Policy and other related policies as 
situations warrant. These incidents may be internal or external to 
clients and vendors. 
* Perform first level problem analysis and data collection by executing 
scripts and following procedures provided by second level support teams. 

* Provide and receive updates based on a documented schedule throughout 
the life of the incident using established procedures. 
* Work with the Technical Operations team to optimize and improve the 
existing monitoring &amp; alerting platform by providing written 
requirements. 
* Assist in the hand-off and initiation of support issues from the first 
level call center support team. 
* Support the training of new NOC Analysts in technologies and 
procedures. 
* Provide Daily reports on time per documented schedule as directed. 

Skills Required: 
* Must possess strong conceptual and analytical problem solving 
abilities, and must have excellent verbal and written communication 
skills. 
* Must demonstrate the ability to interpret technical documentation and 
procedures, as well as network architecture diagrams 
* The ability to work on multiple tasks and/or projects at one time is 
critical 
* Must be able to demonstrate a general understanding of server system 
technologies (e.g. Windows/UNIX) and network technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, 
routers, and firewalls) 
* UNIX system administration skills a plus 
* Programming skills and/or experience with scripting languages (e.g. 
Perl) also a plus
