Hey Guys, I've been lurking around the mailing-list for few months, and came to the meeting on Thursday(I was the stranger geeky girl who looked out of place).Though, I can't become a regular member(I'm leaving next week after being an intern in Boston for three months), I was wondering if anybody could give me pointers on a sucessful install fest. I'm currently the president over a Linux Community at my school, yet, as of late, we've always had poor attendance at our install fests(we hold three a year). Does anybody have any ideas on what I could do to generate interest, or things I could do during the day? Usually, we help people install linux, but I feel we could even do more. I hope to come to the Install Fest this weekend, as I have an interesting laptop I'd like to install a new distro on(Google Sony Viao PCG-505F), however, due to me trying to get stuff ready so I can leave labor day weekend, I may not have too much time. However, blu seems to be an awesome group, from what I can tell.
