Hi,

Our client in Burlington, MA is looking for a Linux/Unix  and Virtualization Engineer who would like to work with a high growth company that is developing cutting edge solutions for the healthcare industry. Responsibilities:
. Expert level experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows systems administration.
. Expert level experience with VMWare, VMware, ESXi, vSphere, VMWare Update Manager.
. Experience with other Datacenter Management solutions and automation.
. Perform Incident resolution, Problem Determination and Root Cause Analysis in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
. Providing support for storage projects and solutions such as backup and restore, disaster. recovery, storage consolidation, data protection and storage performance.
. Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and execution.
. Upgrade, install and troubleshoot networks, networking hardware devices and software.
. Write shell scripts to automate support setup, configuration and operational tasks.
. Demonstrate strong follow-through and consistently keep commitments to customers and employees.
. Be available for weekend and after-hours on-call production support as needed.

Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degrees in Information Technology, Health IT, or a related field.
. 7+ years professional experience as a Systems Administrator/Engineer responsible for managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows based operating systems and hardware and a virtualized infrastructure environment.
. Excellent communication skills are required (both verbal and written) documentation and presentation skills.
. Ability to meet service level agreements and provide high quality customer service.
. Experience in managing Electronic Health Record systems and/or Health IT related systems.
. Experience with automation tools such as Capistrano, Chef or Salt.
. Understanding of storage administration and technologies including NFS, RAID, Fiber Channel, Storage Area Networks, iSCSI.
. Proven track record designing, building, and maintaining highly available fault-tolerant systems.
. Experience with HIPAA, HITECH, ISO 27002 and related healthcare industry standards.
. Must have hands-on experience administering a heterogeneous network, including Windows. administration (Active Directory, Linux administration (LDAP) and essential network engineering duties.
. Experience with tools like: Nagios, Ganglia, Bugzilla, Subversion, and Puppet.
. Experience with telephony platforms and voice over IP protocols is a plus.
. Experience with web-based medical products in a medical services company.
