[Discuss] Problems with Firefox 30.0 and video preferences?

As I mentioned in my original email, the action is indeed set correctly,
but after I upgraded to 30.0, firefox started ignoring the setting and now
plays mp4 videos in the browser, regardless of the settings.

Before the upgrade, it ignored the preferences for webm files, but not for
mp4, avi, and mkv files.
It played webm files in the browser regardless of the settings, but it
passed mp4, avi, and mkv files to mplayer in accordance with the settings.

I didn't have many webm files, so I didn't spend much time looking for a
solution.

After the upgrade to 30.0, it plays webm and mp4 files in the browser
regardless of the settings, and it passes avi and mkv files to mplayer in
accordance with the settings.

The overwhelming majority of my video files are mp4, so this pretty much
breaks my video manager webpage.
