Normally, there is an initial cease and desist order that comes before
the lawsuit. The reason is that is a lawsuit requires some paperwork and
expense. A cease and desist is quick and inexpensive. Bottom line is I
don't think we need to take down videos and I don't think we need to be
any more formal than asking the speaker for permission. Certainly there
are some who don't want to be taped, but we are not taping in secret.
