philosophical issue: slackware vrs redhat

I'm getting a recommendation that our next incarnation
or remote email/web server run slackware rather than
redhat. The recommendation is based on slackware
being less popular therefore less attractive for
hackers but being as advanced as redhat in all the
areas that a remote apache server needs. Are there
any areas in which you feel slackware suffers in
comparison to redhat as a remote server os?

Hugh
