For what it's worth, I like printing my photos on 8.5 x 11 photo paper. I've found the difference in quality between a 1600x1200 and a 2048x1536 jpeg image to be very noticeable. 1024x768 at 8.5x11 was horrid, and while 1600x1200 was OK, 2048x1536 looked much better. For a 4x5 print, there wasn't really a noticeable difference. At that size the 1024x768 was acceptable, and the 1600x1200 was as good as the 2048x1536. -- John Abreau / Executive Director, Boston Linux & Unix ICQ 28611923 / AIM abreauj / JABBER jabr at jabber.org / YAHOO abreauj Email jabr at blu.org / WWW http://www.abreau.net / PGP-Key-ID 0xD5C7B5D9 PGP-Key-Fingerprint 72 FB 39 4F 3C 3B D6 5B E0 C8 5A 6E F1 2C BE 99 -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
