Surely not just anyone can approve messages by > adding an Approved header to their posts! If it did, we'd never see spam or velveeta on newsgroups! I've already posted to the group, just by adding an Approved: header in Thunderbird and doing everything else the normal way. However, in order to preserve author's ID's and threads, I must find a way to post approved articles with headers intact. The inews man page says it will accept a file as input, but I'm missing some critical setting: I tried using rnews instead, but I'm getting a system-level error about a value being out of domain. All suggestions welcome. Bill Horne 781-784-7287 -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
