Internet censorship

A relative I'm fond of, and communicate with often, says this:

"Fairpoint has taken over from Verizon. The first thing I noticed is that
some of my favorite NG are gone."

He lives in a town once famed for its fine shoes.

I didn't suggest satellite, but did offer to download, ROT13, and forward.

There are times when I think that a mesh of LANs interconnected by
ultra-wideband time-domain links (directional antennas!) might be an
underground scheme. Have little doubt that Those Who Would Censor would
catch on, quickly.

Best regards,

Perhaps we should think of our annual
incomes in terms of Iraq-war-seconds.
One Iraq-war-minute is definitely comfortable.
