Trying to install R - trouble installing depedency Fw: install - xdg Public key for xdg-utils-1.0.2-4.el4.noarch.rpm is not installed

Wait... You're trying to install packages from your local  
filesystem... And you're trying to install both the RHEL4 and RHEL5  
versions of the same package. Don't do that. Only install the RHEL5 one.
