If your looking to help out in the community, the Ubuntu MA loco does sessions almost every tuesday.  Check out wiki.ubunutcom/massachusettsteam This along with the install fest is a good way to make connections and help out.

For the masters I would check out BU, Northeastern, or harvard extension.
