Linux, Windows AD domain, and IDs



Hi Scott,

You can get uniform UID, by using winbind to query AD user IDs and a  
parameter in smb.conf. I believe it's "idmap" or sth similar. And if  
memory serves, you have to specify the same ID range in the smb.conf  
of all your Centos servers.

Sorry for the vague reply, I'm on the road and can't look at my  
servers. I'll post my config later.
