[Discuss] Debian officially forked over systemd

The base code is poorly written. For example, Lennart's code had
incorrectly handled buffer over-runs and under-runs that lead to
distorted playback and kernel panics.

It's incompatible with some older software. The incompatibilities lead
to PulseAudio becoming unstable while running which in turn can cause
the kernel to panic.

Lennart then blamed Canonical for not doing their homework when
integrating PulseAudio in Ubuntu 8.whatever. He then stopped working on
PulseAudio to work on systemd instead.

systemd broke my Samba startup. That's not philosophical. That's not an
attack against Lennart. That's a concrete example of systemd failing to
perform it's primary function: starting system daemons.
