The bug is <https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/554835> and here's an explanation of what they're talking about: <http://www.netsplit.com/2010/03/30/all-about-kernel-mode-setting/>. I've been following the bug, and it looks like there's a kernel fix upstream. Meanwhile, I'm working around it by using the previous kernel, but if you read the bug, there are other suggested workarounds. -- Laura (mailto:lconrad-O0WJhd4tT3hg9hUCZPvPmw at public.gmane.org) (617) 661-8097 233 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02139 http://www.laymusic.org/ http://www.serpentpublications.org When I die and there's a memorial service, I want you to go to the piano and play _The Man I Love_ in my key. If I don't come out on that stage, then you'll know I'm gone. Kitty Carlisle Hart, (Quoted at her memorial service, where they did in fact play _The Man I Love._)
